Thanks!

For the first time since we arrived at Pilot Knob in November, neither of us went to Mexico on Tuesday.  A headache for me and a severe cough/cold for Mike kept us at home.  This was Marylou's Facebook post on Wednesday.

We had a wonderful day south yesterday. As you see in the photos the house is totally painted now. Everyone made it look so beautiful. Thank you all the picked up a paintbrush and roller. Yesterday we got a lot of one on one with the children. Not as many there yesterday homesick A few others with family As usual Delia is doing such an awesome job with these children. May God bless her. As much as she blesses everyone else love you Delia. Thanks to everyone Who is on this awesome ride with us. Thanking each of you

And these are the pictures that Glee took that day.

The house is nearly all painted - the yellow definitely needs to go!

The new clothesline is working well.

All of the children leave a mark on all of us who visit regularly and some of them left a painted handprint on the brick wall - hopefully others will be added.

Great opportunity to truly enjoy the kids.

Friends came by to enjoy a meal with the group.

Looks like there was some work accomplished by the kids and the adults and lots of smiles!

When Glee and John left the house, they went to an area in the country where bricks are made.  The hand mixed material goes into a wooden mold.

It is leveled out and the mold removed - all of the work is done by hand.  The bricks sell for around 15 cents a piece.

This is a mound of bricks that has been cured - a fire is built inside.

Thanks to Glee for helping me feel like I was along for the day.  And thanks be to God that I am feeling great and Mike is slowing getting better.  Thanks is such a simple word and one that doesn't get near enough use!  So thanks for reading this blog and for your interest in what is happening with Papa's Missions.

Please remember to always listen when God whispers and respond when He nudges.  THANKS!
