It has been a while since I posted and I just wanted to let everyone know that things are going well in Mexico. As in many of your homes, life is settling down after the hectic holidays. Here in the village of Algodones, at The House for Children, it is the same.
Suzanne, a friend from Minnesota, visited and enjoyed some time with the children. The building titles were pulled out (now they were a good investment) and houses built and destroyed.
Love and hugs are being exchanged.
Apprehension is turning to acceptance.
Genuine smiles are frequent and heart warming.
Thanks to a generous donor, when the numbers are few, they can enjoy cartoons on the computer.
A new year begins and the needs continue. If you are in the Yuma area this winter, please contact Marylou or me and come visit. A short time at The House is bound to chase away the chill of winter and warm the heart.
Till later, please remember to Listen when God Whispers and Respond when He Nudges.
